This is my first attempt at using one of my fonts. I decided to completely fill the top third with the tittle, with 'men’s music magazine' underneath in smaller text. This allows the reader to understand what stereotype the magazine is aimed at. I decided to use M.M.M at my magazine's name as it is simple, and stand out to the audience. Once my magazine is established, customers will instantly recognise the magazine. NME stood out to me, and I wanted to use an abbreviation as it is simple but an effective way to market my magazine. I used a picture of my girlfriend for this draft cover as I am thinking of using her on my main cover. Having a female on the front cover will appeal to men, but in a classy way. I won’t be asking her to strip off anytime soon. I also made the image black and white and the back ground grey. Most magazines do this so their main image stands out. Thursday, 6 January 2011
